A British man sat the condition of a road near his village and finally laid a foot down – or in this case legs up.
On Sunday, February 23, James Coxall placed a few fake legs – equipped with jeans and a few colorful sneakers – created in a large lake by a pit on Haverhill Road in the Cambridgeshire – Castle Camps in England, according to the BBC.
The 41-year-old carpenter told the exhaust valve that he had set up the joke after the gaping crater-one of the many holes on the road did not house months.
Coxall said that although the road is not busy, drivers “should stop or hit the pit” if they encounter oncoming traffic.

Coxall, his wife and children decided to “have a little fun” with the frustrating road situation and gathered some old clothes and rags and turned into a pair of legs dressed in jeans and shoes.
“The shoes went to a good cause, so we thought we would give them an outing first,” Coxall told the BBC. “We filled the jeans with old rags and I used some wood to keep the legs firm and upright.”
He placed the legs in the puddle, with the feet up in the air, using a brick to weaken his creation. He then posted a photo of his joke on the Facebook group, strange things around Cambridge and another local Haverhill group, which already earned a lot of likes.

“It’s just a bit fun, and I have had many messages about it,” Coxall told the BBC. “People seem to like it here, but then I am known as a bit of a joker.”
The striking stunt from Coxall eventually paid off, because the Cambridgeshire County Council told the outlet that one of his highways would come to inspect the road and “repairs will be carried out as required.”
The province also advised residents to use its online pothole reporting tool.
